Google Classroom is Coming!


If you are a big Google Drive user in your classroom, I have really good news for you to look forward to for this fall. They are releasing Google Classroom to our accounts! What's great about that?

Classroom weaves together Google Docs, Drive and Gmail to help teachers create and organize assignments quickly, provide feedback efficiently, and communicate with their classes with ease. And it lets students organize their work, complete and turn it in, and communicate directly with their teachers and peers.
For those of you who are using the Doctopus add-on in your Drive, this sounds like life is going to be easy for you now as integrating those tools in to your account from the start with no add on needed.



If you are a big user and want a preview, you can sign up to opt in to see it next month. For everyone else, it will be available this fall.

I've been working with a teacher lately who has struggled with her students completing a summative paper in her class.
