Hi, Blog Followers! Phew! Conference season is officially wrapped up. Seven presentations at two conferences in two states. And I learned so much to bring back to you, too. I'll be sharing content from both conferences in the weeks ahead. One of the "oldie but a goodie" tools that was frequently used during MassCUE sessions last week would be Mentimeter, which I share in this weeks tech tips. Reminder: You can see the tips from the past weeks (or last year) and access all of the links by  clicking on the slide below  and then using the arrows to scroll through the other slides in the deck. As a reminder, here is the menu of ways I can serve you: Co-Teaching: Two heads are better than one! Let me teach with you for a day! We can work together to make sure that problems are solved and students get the individual attention they need. I should probably be involved in your planning as well for this to be most effective. Google Expeditions would be included in this option. Fee

Hi, Blog Followers! I'm going to be heading to MassCUE before 5AM tomorrow morning to spend two days presenting in Gillette Stadium and being a sponge to learning as much as I possibly can with our neighbors to the south. It's always very interesting to see "how things are done" in another state, so I am expecting to be very overwhelmed by the end of the day on Thursday. Because I'll be off campus, I might not get back to you as quickly as you'd like. But I'll be back on Friday! Now on to my tech tips for the week. Hi, Blog Followers! PHEW! What a whirlwind. Last week I gave 5 presentations at the annual ACTEM conference in Augusta. If you want to see what all of the sessions were AND access the resources for them, you can check out the shared notes for each session through this document . It was an exhausting two days and I'm the first to admit that I'm still recovering and getting caught up on my emails. Now on to my tech tips for the week. You can see the tips from the past weeks (or last year) and access all of the links by  clicking on the slide below  and then using the arrows to scroll through the other slides in the deck. From automatically generating captions when presenting Google Slides (including newly released options for them) to tackling your procrastination monkey to keyboard shortcuts... there is a lot to cover! Let me know what you think or if you have a suggestion for how I can make these emails more valuable for you. As a reminder, here is the menu of ways I can serve

Hi, Blog Followers! I'm going to be out of the district from Wednesday afternoon until Friday night this week. I'll be in Augusta presenting five sessions at the annual ACTEM conference and helping to support the conference committee as a board member. If you don't hear back from me as quickly as you'd like, that would be why. Be sure to follow #ACTEM19 on Twitter to see what is happening and learn from the presenters even though you aren't there with us. It's a great way to expand your professional learning network (PLN)! Now on to my tech tips for the week. You can see the tips from the past weeks (or last year) and access all of the links by  clicking on the slide below  and then using the arrows to scroll through the other slides in the deck. The highlights for this week are links to my Naviance @ BEHS and Liveschool @ BEMS resources since I am now the point person for professional development for both platforms. Let me know what you think or if you have a

Hi, Blog Followers! Today begins the busiest month for me. I can't believe how fast the first month flew by! This month I'll be presenting at ACTEM19 again and, for the first time, taking on a new role as a board member. I'd love to have more teachers join me next year, so keep it in mind! I'll also be heading back to present at MassCUE, which is a Gillette in Forborough. Doing a session in a box overlooking the field is an experience I cannot accurately describe in words. Now on to my tech tips for the week. You can see the tips from the past weeks (or last year) and access all of the links by  clicking on the slide below  and then using the arrows to scroll through the other slides in the deck. This week I've added in a sound component with a podcast episode I think is work listening to. This week is goes hand in hand with my "Tools of the Week". Have a suggestion for how I can make these emails even more helpful? Let me know what you think! As a reminde
